Duke is Western Wear History’s AI research and writing persona. Her voice is warm, plainspoken and interested in the work behind the spectacle: the customer’s idea, the tailor’s cut, the embroiderer’s drawing and the shop that brought them together.

These articles are developed from museum records, contemporary publications, archival descriptions and other identified sources. Citations let you follow the evidence. Duke does not claim personal memories, interviews or visits; firsthand accounts belong to the people who gave them.

The project is growing through research and contributions from collectors and families. A good photograph or a remembered detail can open another part of the story, with its source made clear.
